He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Griffin and Mamie Griffin; his son Randall Griffin Jr.; his great grandchild Nicholas Farris; and his siblings, Orson Griffin Jr., Larry Griffin, Terry Griffin, Gary Griffin, Ricky Griffin and Patsy Murray.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Griffin; his children, Kimberly DeLong, Lanora Griffin and Patricia Lucas; his stepchildren, Bobbie Martin, Bradley Martin and Les Martin; and his siblings, Delores Johnson, Doug Griffin, Donny Griffin, Darla Griffin, Bonnie Griffin and Carolyn Jaycox. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; many step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren and many step great grandchildren.
