Ruth Puffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Puffer of Turlock, California, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Frasier and Oral Frasier; and her husband Albert Puffer. She is survived by: her children, Susan Maynard (Rudy) of Turlock, Robert Puffer (Sheila) of Turlock, Mary Diel (Jim) of Sacramento and Laura Steichen (Mark) of Sonora. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Charitable donations can be made in Ruth's memory to Covenant Living Center of Turlock Benevolent Fund, Covenant Care Hospice of Turlock or the charity of donor's choosing.
