She was predeceased by: her parents, Darris Brown and Mary Brown; her husband Robert Vaughn; and her sister Barbara Kern. She is survived by: her daughters, Jan Bishel (Tom) of Turlock, Sheryl Murphy (Todd) of Wylie and Marlene Ashton (Dale) of Chandler; her stepdaughter Pamela Hernandez (Dee) of Turlock; her brother-in-law Manfred Kern of Germany; and her nephews, Jonathan Kern, David Kern and Stefan Kern. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
