He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvestre Valencia and María Luisa Moreno; his son Victor; and his nephew David. He is survived by: his siblings, Amparo (Felipe), Alfonso, José Luis, Alicia (Dino), Rosa and Rebeca; his children, Silvestre Jr., Alex (Kelly) and Debbie (Jason); his grandchildren, Claudia (Alan), Joel, Aikman, Madden and Keegan; his great grandchildren, Navina, Aylah, Everlee, Joel Jr. and Yazmin; and his siblings' children, Elizabeth (Richard), Vivian, Vanessa, Deena (Charles), Monique (James), Aida, Esther, Rebeca, Alfonso Jr. (Doris), Juan, Loren (Ashley), Vincent (Mary), Manuel and Javier.
