With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joni Delafield Chapin (Tustin, California), who passed away on October 7, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Helen Dean Delafield and William Sloane Delafield (Princeton University); her sons, Greggory and James; and her siblings, William, Robert, Mary Newcomb and Deborah Morrison.

She is survived by : her husband Louis; her children, Tami, Daniel and Brett; and her brother David. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
