He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Alice and Harold Hoover; his wife Lorraine; and his children, Randy and Sandy.

He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Hoover (Guy Pronsolino); his grandchildren, Jake Hoover (Holley), Russell Pronsolino (Katie), Marchella Norris (Bobby), Megan Kosonen (Will) and Laura Hoover; Laylla Hoover, Harrison Norris, Shawnee Norris, Hunter Norris and Finnegan Pronsolino.
