He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Joseph Elsbernd and Rosemary Clyne; and his sisters, Amy and Nina. He is survived by : his wife Shelley Louise Jensen; his grandchild Samson (Michael); his sons, Joseph and Charles; his grandson Charles Wyatt Elsbernd; his daughter Katie; his grandchild Jaxson Wade Elsbernd; and his sisters, Suzanne, Deeann, Michelle and Annette (Paul).

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1791 Marshall Rd, Vacaville, CA 95687).
