He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline Ann Porter; his sons, John David Porter (Lilla) and James Andrew Porter; his parents, Calvin Reese Porter and Mary Entrikin Porter; and his brother Robert Reese Porter (Shirley).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Porter (Susan Smith) and Kimberly Porter-Leite (Dulcinea Leite); his grandchildren, Jennifer Shoultes and James Graham (Jennifer Graham); his great grandchild George Shoultes; and his brother Calvin Porter (Marilyn Porter).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mission Peak Unitarian Universalist Church (2950 Washington Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539).
