It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Q. Lariviere (Vallejo, California), who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul LaRiviere and Helen LaRiviere; and his siblings, David LaRiviere, Anthony LaRiviere and Alicia Chestnut.

He is survived by : his children, Michael LaRiviere and Jennifer LaRiviere; his grandson Asheron Sykes; his son-in-law Sam Sykes; his siblings, John LaRiviere, Paul LaRiviere-Lipsett (Jim), Adrian Davis and Alex LaRiviere; and his brother-in-law Merlin Chestnut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
