As we bid Claudia Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Claudia Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cross and Christine Cross of Ventura; and her brother Robert of Sacramento. She is survived by: her husband Carl Handy of Ventura; her daughter Amy McAlpine; her son-in-law David McAlpine; her grandsons, Ethan and Luke McAlpine; and her siblings, Patricia Lamberson of Ventura and Thomas Cross of Loveland, Colorado..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Livingston Memorial in Ventura.
