She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulalio Lopez and Francisca Ramirez; her husband Joe B. Contreras; her sons, Dave and Danny; her grandson Daniel Contreras (Texas); her children-in-law, Joe Aguilar and Hope Contreras; and her siblings, Frances Garcia (Kika), Tilly Nunez, Joe Lopez, Valentine Lopez, Peter Lopez and Eva Castorena.
She is survived by: her children, Joe (Julie), Billy, Ricky (Margie), Connie (John) and Sandy. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated for Mary Health of the Sick, in Newbury Park, her home since May 2021, that provided professional and loving compassionate care.
