He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Etzler and Bonnie Etzler; his wife Kristen K. Etzler; and his nephew Jonn Etzler. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kari Locke-Nash (Darrin), Karla Neal (Steve) and Ken Evanoff; his brothers, Mike (Ellen), Terry (Debbie) and Brian; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Katie, Kailyn, Jack, Anna, Sarah, Kaleb, Conner, Brady and Madison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
