He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vanuxem Wurts, Jr. and Kathlyn Frances Wurts. He is survived by: his siblings, Kath Wurts of Ventura and Jack Wurts of Ventura.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home & Cremation Service (757 E Main St, Ventura, CA 93001). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church (3175 Telegraph Rd, Ventura, CA 93003). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery (2370 N H St, Oxnard, CA 93036). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026.
