He is survived by: his son David Alan Ashby; his daughter-in-law Analyn Ashby; his granddaughters, Matilda and Olive, of Pittsburgh, PA; his sister Barbara Ashby of Ventura; his nephews, Jim Motley of Ventura, Gary Ashby, and Michael Ashby; and the mother of his children Karen Wilda of Great Falls, MT.
