Jose Ernest Lujan Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 15, 2026, at the age of 88, Jose Ernest Lujan in Ventura, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lujan and Delores Lujan; his wife Rita Wood Lujan; and his stepson Peter Folsom. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Cindy Russell (Gene), Mitchell Folsom (Armida), Joan Folsom, Sherilyn Held and Ronald Folsom (Kathy); his siblings, Fred Lujan (Gloria), Angel Jojola (Bart), Marcus Lujan and Randy Lujan; his friend Pippi; and his caregiver Melissa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; 23 grand-nieces and nephews; and 9 great-grand-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Research Foundation in his honor.
