He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Smith and Michael Smith Sr.; and his daughter Cristine Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jodean Smith; his daughter Billie Leon; his grandsons, Daniel Leon and Jonathan Centeno; his son-in-law Toby Leon; and his sister Wilma Smith Kennedy.

The gathering will be potluck-style, and a GoFundMe will be shared to support the family during this difficult time.
