He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdalena Bravo and Leopoldo Bravo; his stepmother Carmen Bravo; his siblings, Delores Ortiz, Rodolfo and Ramiro Bravo; and his half-sister Mary Ruth "Cuca" Bravo.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia; his children, Ricardo (Rachel), Ana (Alvaro Olmo), Alice Romero (Paul), Angelina (late Humberto Flores) and Robert (Jackie); and his sister Lupe Ortiz. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren.
