He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Larkin Brooks and Hope Palmer Brooks; his daughter Larkin Brooks; and his sisters, Hope Meryman and Whitney Hansen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Hopie and Blue; his friend John Yzurdiaga; his wife Kathy; his daughter Liz; his son-in-law Chris Harges; and his grandchildren, Kate and Charlie Harges.
