He was predeceased by: his parents, John Irving Blumenthal and Mary Newkirk Blumenthal. He is survived by: his wife Lise Blumenthal of Cornwall, VT; his children, Ryan Blumenthal of San Francisco and Jana Lustig of Los Angeles; his son-in-law Daniel Lustig; his brothers, Tom Blumenthal (Amy Andrews) of Riverside, CT and Andy Blumenthal of Frisco, CO; and his aunt Jane Gilman of Los Angeles. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
