He is survived by : his siblings, Louis, Lethon, Hershel, Roger, Virgil Hamilton, Clyde Moore, Evelina Jones and Eddie Jean Norris; his wife Kimberli; his children, Charles Hamilton II, Sequela Carpenter (Bushawn) and Devon Aleshia Hamilton Bell (Wayne); his grandchildren, DeAndre Hamilton, Ciara Leja' and Teah Gonsalves (Jeffrey); his great grandchildren, Jamari Zakie Smith, DeAndre M. Hamilton Jr., Ny'Amoni Hamilton, Adria Burke, Amaia Estores and Ayla Gonsalves; and his siblings, Capers Hamilton, Esther Ruth Truly and Verna Mae Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Recently Charles had found that even in light of the pandemic, the Bible study was to continue outside in the park.
