He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Halligan and Marion Halligan (Neaves). He is survived by: his daughter Deborah; his son-in-law David Thompson of Yorba Linda, CA; his sisters, Patricia Powers of Milwaukee, WI and Elaine; his brother-in-law Jesse Santos of Vacaville, CA; and his sister Jean Buchanan (Phillip Bouton). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
