He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Sheesley and Mary Sheesley; his sister Lois; and his cousins, Frank Selover (Bonnie) of Lindsay and Mary Waterman of Bakersfield.
He is survived by: his wife Anna of Visalia; his brother Bob (Vicky) of Sequim, Washington; his sister-in-law Carol Jones of Depot Bay, Oregon; his sons, Steven of Visalia, Scott (Lianna) of Fresno and Brian (Joni) of Valencia; his granddaughters, Kayla, Karly, Samanthaa and Jenna; and his sibling's children, David, Dana Rethwisch (Michael) and Donald. He is also survived by wife, sons, daughters in-law and granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a contribution to The Gene Sheesley Memorial Scholarship at the Sequoia Visalia Kiwanis Club, Happy Trails Riding Academy, or the Alzheimer's Association.
