He was predeceased by: his parents, Aram Yahnian and Roxie Yahnian; his wife Michelle "Sally" Findley; his sister Charlotte Potts (Shocky); and his siblings-in-law, John Jonigian, Don Potts, Bill (Carolyn), Richard Findley and Jeanne Vanoni.

He is survived by: his uncles, Karnig and Sarkis; his cousins, Sarkis Yahnian and Charles Garabedian; his aunt Hanum; his friends, Pete, John, Jim Reese, Gordon Pendegraft and Ray Schlick; his child Armenian; his cousin Charlie; his children-in-law, Ann and Jonathan; his caregivers, Junior, Miguel and Bebe; his children, Steven (Ann), Janet Chilingerian (Jonathan) and Marc (Leslie); his granddaughters, Jenna, Jessica and Jillian Chilingerian; his sisters, Theresa Jonigian, Louise and Sharon; Dadour and Aram. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Armenian Apostolic Churches of St. Mary (Yettem), St. Paul (Fresno), or St. Gregory (Fowler), or to the donor's favorite charity.
