She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Bekius and Dena Bekius; her parents-in-law, Peter and Bertha DeGraaf; her brother-in-law Cornelius DeGraaf (Helena DeGraaf); her nephew Harvey DeGraaf; her siblings-in-law, Elaine Bekius and Russell Hoekstra; her nephew Jay Bekius; and her brother-in-law John Santema.
She is survived by: her husband John DeGraaf; her daughters, Sharon Johnson and Linda Skaggs (David); and her siblings, Sylvia Hoekstra, Duane Bekius (Delores), Al Bekius (Barb), Donna Breems (Henry) and Brenda Santema. She is also survived by numerous children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Central Valley Christian Schools (CVC) Scholarship Fund.
