With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Ellsworth Hartwell Jr. (Visalia, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 4, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn E. Hartwell Sr. and Gaynell Johnson; and his stepfather Johnny Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hartwell; his daughters, Natalie Mahar (Mike), Michelle Welchel (Barry), Shari Doty, Misty Shelton (James) and Amanda Hartwell; and his grandchildren, Candy, Blake Apedaile, Adam, Sean Patten, Tiffany Baker, Jacob, Johnathan, Joshua Shelton, Audrey Quintanilla and Logan Goleman. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel (127 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia, CA 93277).
