He is survived by: his siblings, Juan Elpio and Emma; his wife Mary Hernandez; his son Refugio "Cookie" Gallegos; his daughter-in-law Cindy; his grandchildren, Mike and Breanna; and his family, Mary, Refugio "Cookie", Cindy, Mike, Kristen and Breanna.
