He was predeceased by: his children, Jimmy Deckard, Bobby Smallwood, Scott Smallwood and Lisa Smallwood; and his granddaughter Bobbie Smallwood.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Smallwood (Faye); his children, Kimberly Smallwood of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wesley Smallwood of Peoria, Illinois and Kelly Smallwood of San Diego, California; and his stepsons, David Cassaro of Rockford and Gregory Cassaro of Rockton, Illinois.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
