With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Thomas Garrett (Visalia, California), who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Thomas Garrett and Lillie Erma Thompson; his wife Nancy McNaughton Garrett (Temple) of California; his half-sister Carol Ruth Taylor; his grandson Tyler Garrett; and his great grandchild Steven Michael Garrett III.
He is survived by: his children, David (Shelli), Steven (Jonele), Julie Darnell (Patrick), Kelli Marshall (Ryan) and Cristy Michaelson (Paul). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (650 N Lovers Ln, Visalia, CA 93292). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Visalia District Cemetery (1300 W Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291).
