Elizabeth Larson Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Anne Larson (née Moore) of Vista passed away January 26, 2025 at age 85. Betty was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 19, 1939 and was the eldest child of Hubert and Elizabeth (Matten) Moore. Betty graduated from San Dieguito High School in 1957.

Betty was an entrepreneur. She ran a nursery for the last 35 years, selling everything from queen palm trees to succulents.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Billy and Andy Moore, and sister Tina Nelson. She is survived by her husband; children Kathie Gallo, Jimmy Joe Gooding, and Tina Horak; grandchildren Jaymie and Gregory; great-grandchild Allison; and brothers Buddy, Johnny, Georgie, and Charlie Moore.

Services were February 11th at St. John in Encinitas.
