It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Buckles of Vista, California, born in Jewell, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Glenda Wilson; his parents, Lloyd and Olava; his siblings, Lloyd, Jr., Janice Samuelson and Janet; and his daughter Glenda.

He is survived by : his sisters, Colleen Ossman of Jefferson City, MO and Judy Johnson of Cedar Rapids, IA; and his children, Brian (Grandchildren Mary) of Shawnee, KS, Trent of Bellevue, NE, Jarita of Chicago, IL, Grandchildren Scott, Atira, Jarit, Rianna, Jarisa, Janna, Addison and Jim Buckels.
