He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd H. Sable and Regina R. Sable; and his siblings, Glenn Marcus Sable, Robert Kenneth Sable and Joanne Sable Brady.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Klein Sable of Vista, CA; his children, John P. Sable, Jr. of Friday Harbor, WA, Amy Sable Petruska of Hopkins, MN, Catherine Sable Anastasiou (Alexander C. Anastasiou) of Escondido, CA, Richard C. Sable (Melissa A. Sable) of Fallbrook, CA and Stephanie Sable Martinez (Andrew C. Martinez) of Center Point, TX; his grandchildren, Audrey, Eric Sable, Jack Petruska, Barrett and Coralynn Martinez; his siblings, Paula J. Reese (Gerald T. Reese) of Hesperia, CA and Frederick H. Sable of Webster, MN; his sisters-in-law, Joan C. Sable of New Hope, MN and Melanie K. Juds; and his grandson Wayne C. Juds of Vadnais Heights, MN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
For those wishing to attend, there will be a short graveside service with military honors at 2 p.m.
Instead of flowers, family prefers memorial donations to Samaritan's Purse, the American Heart Association, or to donor's choice.
