Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Katherine for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She is survived by: her husband Sammy Haygood; her daughters, Jennifer Cox (Steven Erhardt) and Kate Saunders (Jeff Saunders); her stepdaughter Malia Godfrey; and her grandchildren, Reagan Saunders, Oliver Godfrey and Matteo Godfrey.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at the Cremation Services Inc. (2570 Fortune Way Suite A, Vista, CA 92081).
