She was predeceased by: her parents, Taka Shinohara and Gakuzon Shinohara; her husband George; and her brother Shuske Mori. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Kaya (David Frankville) and Patricia Donnelly (Robert Donnelly); her grandchildren, Lani, Kai, Bryan (Jessica) and Melissa; and her sisters, Kumiko Niikura and Mieko Takeuchi.
