It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Claeys (Walnut Creek, California), born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her siblings, Lue, Iva, Irene, Cleo, Chet and Frank.

She is survived by : her son Marc (Mary); her grandchildren, Ryan (Jenna), Alyssa (Jordan) and Lauren (Sam); and her great grandchildren, Wade and Mason.

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
