We announce the death of Josie Hernandez (Wasco, California), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 81. Josie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Delfino and Irene Vega; her siblings, Robert Delfino and Virginia Holguin; and her son Robert Hernandez.
She is survived by: her husband Vincent Hernandez; her children, David Hernandez (Griselda Hernandez), Anna Lopez, Michelle Hernandez, Art Vega and Ana (David Lopez); her grandchildren, Anisa Hernandez, Lydia Malanche, Ivan, Ariana Pinetta, Mark, Franque Jauregui, Erik, Jalina Hernandez, Anthony, Mia Hernandez, Sadie Hernandez, Mathew Hernandez, Valerie Hernandez and Alexa Hernandez; her sister Mary Sinohui; her daughter-in-law Corinna Hernandez; and her sister-in-law Mary Hernandez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Community Church (1544 7th St, Wasco, CA 93280).
