With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Epifania Tavarez of Watsonville, California, born in Castroville, California, who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fermin Tavarez; her sons-in-law, Tom Gugale and Jim Dutra; and her grandsons, Mark and Tommy Gugale.
She is survived by: her children, Cornelia Gugale, Teresa Dutra and David Tavarez; and her daughter-in-law Angela Tavarez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and countless friends.
Donations made in her name to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, Community Bridges/Meals on Wheels of Santa Cruz County, or Moreland Notre Dame School will be greatly appreciated.
