He is survived by: his wife Isabel Jacinto; his children, Francisco Jr. Acosta Alegre (Gemma), Raul Acosta Alegre (Ruth), Aileen Alegre White (Aaron), Winston Acosta Alegre (Juvy), Loida Acosta Alegre and Ira Acosta Diaz (Raul); his siblings, Ernesto Sapon Alegre (Farcoleta), Soledad Alegre Basilio (Eusebio), Conrado Sapon Alegre (Leonisa), Simplicio Sapon Alegre (Armenia), Pacita Alegre Javier (Artemio), Perlas Alegre Yalung (Lando), Gloria Alegre Fabian (Virgilio) and Nena Alegre Valdez (Jesus); his grandchildren, Albert Francis, Maria Em, Francis Aerol, Francis James, Michelle Angela, Michelle Maria, Frank Churchill, Frances Gem, Julienne Venus, April Athena, Samuel Francis, Charles Jerwin, Sean Francis and Shiloh Mae; and his great grandchildren, Eullan Franzel, Katlin Quinn, Ambrose Sky and Adierose Kylo.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mehl's Colonial Chapel (222 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Valley Public Cemetery (2445 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076).
