We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2026, at the age of 76, Gary Dean Smith Sr. (Watsonville, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Smith and Virginia Smith; and his siblings, Bob Smith of Watsonville and Theresa Calvert of Salinas. He is survived by: his wife Viola Smith (Las Lomas); and his children, Gary Smith Jr. and Konnie Smith. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and his 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ave Maria Memorial Chapel (609 Main St, Watsonville, CA 95076).
