It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isaias Torrez (Watsonville, California), who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Isaias leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Isaias may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Carlos Torrez Ortega. He is survived by: his mother Guadalupe Yañez Perez; his girlfriend Teresa Meza; his children, Gabriel and Juanita; and his siblings, Alejandra, Maricruz, Elia, Manuel and Armando.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mehl's Colonial Chapel (222 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (2401 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Public Cemetery (2445 E Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA 95076).
