He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maitoza and Rose Maitoza (Mattos); and his siblings, Mel Maitoza (Wilma), Alfred Martin (Millie), Joseph Maitoza (Wanda) and Mildred Bogisich-Meyers.
He is survived by: his wife Romba Maitoza; his daughters, Colleen Maitoza (Lill) and Lori Bivins (Bret); and his grandchildren, Brandon Bivins and Kendall (Bivins) Beishir (Nick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Eucharist Catholic Church (527 Corralitos Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076).
