She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin Hernandez-Albarez and Maria Alonzo; her husband Beningno Reyes; and her siblings, Margarito Hernandez, Dominga Hernandez-Jimenez, Rosa Hernandez-Lopez and Eugenia Fuentes.

She is survived by : her daughters, Barbara Io (Rodney) and Elizabeth Reyes (Pedro Gutierrez); her siblings, Paula Hernandez-Padilla, Asencion Hernandez, Prisciliana Hernandez-Rodriguez, Anita Cervantes and Nieves Gonzales; her grandchildren, Shonn Montalvo, Samantha Io, Andre Gutierrez, Emma Gutierrez and Alize Io; and her great grandchildren, Romanii Montalvo, Shonn Montalvo Jr. and Aden Ortiz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
