She was predeceased by : her parents, Manuel Silva and Maria Silva; her husband Jose; and her son Norberto. She is survived by : her children, Manuel (Silva), Maria Rebelo, Joe (Silva), Lisa Diaz and David (Silva). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
