It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Barney (Watsonville, California), born in Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Eugene and Edna Dorothy Smith (Hackett). She is survived by : her sons, Mike Welch (Cindy) and Tim Welch (Carolyn); her stepdaughters, JoLynn Lords and Vicki Minor; her grandchildren, Johna Simon, Patrick Welch (Jerri Barker), Austin Welch (Rachel), Ashley Welch Martin, Tod Lords (Danette) and Burk Minor; and her sister Claire S. Dosier. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
