She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Ortiz; and her son Erasmo Ortiz. She is survived by: her children, Cruz Ortiz, Maria S. Camelia Corona, Arcelia Cisneros and Manuel Antonio Ortiz. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
