We bid farewell to Barbara Lu Hillman in West Covina, California, born in Pomona, California, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2024 at the age of 97. Barbara Lu touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Sawyer and Julia Sawyer; her siblings, James, Robert and Elizabeth; her husband Jack; and her children, Elaine Stricklin (Tom) of Glendora, Lauren Odle (Gary) of Minneapolis, MN, Jacalyn Behrends (Willie) of Moreno Valley, CA and Jeffrey (Marie) of Fincastle, VA.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Marianne Hilman of Pomona, CA.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, March Air Reserve Base, CA 92518). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the CrossWinds Church (29263 Ironwood Ave, Moreno Valley, CA 92555).
