She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ballesteros and Lola Ballesteros; her husband Manuel Reta; her brother Rudolph Ballesteros; and her grandchild Jazmin Malson.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Marie Simerly (Paul) of Peoria Illinois, Denise De La Paz of Stanton, California, Paul Sandoval of Orange and John Chiarolla of Yorba Linda, California; her sister Rosie Gibson (Ron Knight) of Manhattan Beach, California; and her grandchildren, Jason Simerly, Carrie Higgins (Steve) and Nicole Chiarolla (Destiny). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
