He is survived by: his wife Maria Shields; and his children, Luna Evans (Killean Evans) of San Francisco, CA, John Shields (Valerie Shields), Kenneth Shields (Celena Shields) of Maricopa, Arizona, Durina Smitko (Paul Smitko) of Winchester, CA, Doris Belk (Chris Belk) of Union, Peggy Bardouski (Randall Bardouski) of Highland, CA, Tamarra-Ann Shields (Jaime Ceja) of Highland, CA and Shannon Castillo (Gilbert Castillo) of Riverside, CA.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vigil Murrieta Valley Funeral Home (24651 Washington Ave, Murrieta, CA 92562). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
