Nicholas Sterling Tracy Obituary
Nicholas "Pickle" Sterling Tracy age 21, of Woodlake, CA, took his final flight on September 3, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, adventure, and love that will forever soar in the hearts of those who knew him.
From the moment he entered this world, "Pickle" had a spark that couldn't be dimmed. Known for his humor, passion, and adventurous spirit, he lived every day with energy and heart. Whether he was pulling off a clever prank, chasing adrenaline in Arenacross, Skydiving, playing a round of golf or simply enjoying a peaceful flight to the beach, he truly embraced life to the fullest.
His love for the outdoors ran deep. Nick found peace in nature, whether it was casting a line on a quiet lake, sitting patiently in the woods on a hunt, or spending long days at the beach. Adventure always called to him-on land, water, and especially in the skies. A private pilot with a skydiving license, he achieved his commercial pilot endorsement just three days before his accident-a testament to his determination, skill, and passion for flying. For Nick, the sky was not a limit but a home.
More than his accomplishments, it was his spirit that left the deepest mark. He never met a stranger-only friends he hadn't made yet. He had a gift for seeing the good in everyone, for leaving people better than he found them, and for filling every space with humor, joy, and love. His friends knew that if Nick was around there would always be fun and laughter, whatever he wanted to do would always be a blast, and reminded how good life could be.
He is survived by Bobby & Jenniffer Tracy his Mother and Stepfather, Ronald Fredrickson II his father, Ronnie Fredrickson III his big brother, Tyler Fredrickson his big brother, Mary Carrazco Grandmother, and countless extended close family and numerous friends who became family through his welcoming spirit. Though his time with us was far too short, his light burned brightly, and his love will continue to guide us.
Visitation will be held 4-7pm Friday, September 26th, 2025 at Salser & Dillard Life Event Center, 135 E Caldwell Ave, Visalia. Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at Salser & Dillard Life Event Center with burial to follow at 12pm at Woodlake Public Cemetery, 165 N Cypress St, Woodlake. A reception immediately following at the Woodlake Veterans Memorial Building in Woodlake, CA. Friends and family are invited to share stories, laughter, and love in honor of a young man whose adventurous soul and caring heart will never be forgotten.
