She was predeceased by: her significant other Ray Hernandez; her sons, Joaquin Augustine Hernandez and Antonio Mesa (Tony); her grandson Antonio Jr.; and her parents, Jose Garcia and Cresencia Garcia.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis; her brothers, Ernie Garcia of Las Vegas, Paul M. Garcia of Visalia and Jess Garcia of Sacramento; and her granddaughter Rita Payan.
