He was predeceased by : his parents, Despina Bakis and Panayotis Bakis. He is survived by : his wife Joanne Bakis of Yuba City; his sons, Michael P. Bakis (Elizabeth) of Yuba City and Peter D. Bakis of Yuba City; his siblings, Manuel Bakis of Yuba City, Despina Tzevekos of Rhodes, Greece and Chrisafina Diakakis of Rhodes, Greece; and his grandchildren, Phoenix and Weston Bakis of Yuba City.
